Just got off the phone to Wonga and have sorted out a payment plan for them as well which is well within what I was expecting to pay.
Bar one or two hiccups so far everything is going okay! The dirty dozen (as of December 2014) : ALL CLEARED!0 -
crikey,well done you!
you are really tackling this, good luck to you.LIVE SIMPLY * GIVE MORE * EXPECT LESS * BE THANKFUL0 -
Not out of the woods yet and this month will be quite precarious indeed but if I can get to 28th of June unscathed I'll be cracking open a bottle of Dad's home made Cider (part of my new cost effective lifestyle
).
Okay Uncle Buck have called saying they accidentally pulled out the full £520 instead of the £262 they were going to take out and are offering to refund me £262. Should I take it or would it be better to get rid of Uncle Buck this month?
EDIT: Also ZOPA got back to me and they've offered me a cut in my repayments to £13 a month until 28th October!!! Result! The dirty dozen (as of December 2014) : ALL CLEARED!0 -
If you can manage OK without getting the money back then just get rid but if it's going to cause you problems get it back.

Whilst clearing the debt would be great you still have to be able to get through this month without borrowing the money again, if you can do this whilst paying UncleBuck back then do so, if not then accept their offer for a refund.Don't trust a forum for advice. Got ahold of Uncle Buck and they've refunded me the £262. Thought it'd be wise not to take the chance and in any case I'll have them paid off next monthThe dirty dozen (as of December 2014) : ALL CLEARED!0

Good that they turned out to be as ethical as they initially appeared to be.
Please let us know how it goes once all of the end/start of the month things have happened. Hopefully it'll go fine.0
