I purchased a listing in an online directory and in a few days I changed my mind and the guy said he is not going to give me a refund, this is a joke. The fee was for a year in the directory, surly he can just delete the listing and refund me, sadly he doesn't even have a terms and conditions on his website. What can I do?
This company is a joke, seriously and now don't even reply to emails. Very sad.

He has put some effort in, to create the directory entry, so why should he do that, and delete the entry, for nothing?
If you are thinking about a "cooling off period" given by Distance Selling Regulations, then that does not apply to a service that has already started.
Who is this service provider?0 -
The problem is that when he emailed me that he started the work and cannot give me a refund, but at that time he could not show me what work that was. I mean come on its a basic entry probably five minutes job at a very maximum and here is the line he dropped me when I said i want refund "[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]No I cannot I have done the work and listed your site, be on your way!" At that time I could not find the listing on the site at all. If he done the listing then already he could have just include the link to the listing in that email?!?!? onlyflorists dot co dot uk
?? Be on your way! ?? professional is it??

Clearly this is a business to business transaction, and as such you do not have the same protection that comsumers have.
I too cannot find their T&Cs on their website.
Sorry, but I need to ask... what terms and conditions did you agree to at the time of making the contract?
Did you and he agree to a refund if you changed your mind? I suspect not.0 -
no of course not, it is my fault too i know, but come on how unprofessional is this?!?! Asking a refund after 2 days should be normal no matter what. Looking at the listing he had to click the approve button probably and it was done. How hard is it to delete the listing and give a refund, it was only 2 days. And when you provide a service should you not have a T&C on your website?
