A very strange question about paying for funerals.

It is not the woman's daughter, it's the man who is dying if I read correctly0

From what I understand, both the woman and the man have a daughter each.
The man's daughter inherits the estate (and funeral arrangements).
The woman's daughter is willing to offer her a home if she wants to leave the rented house she's currently in.0 -
Make sure she has severed all joint financial arrangements.
probably worth looking at serving notice on the tenancy if she is on it.
What has happened to the mother of the daughter dead or alive
Were they married and never divorced? I guess dead or divorced.
They should probably be infomed he is ill.
Wherever he dies will be keen to pass the death cert and the body to someone.
Someone needs to register the death and that process results in a "green form" which needs to go to the people responsible for the funeral arrangments.
Probably worth looking into that process if it is to be a council funeral or just avoid getting involved.0
