Tax code changed from 747L to 509T

Hi could some explain in laymens terms why my tax code would have changed. My circumstances have not changed so at a bit of a loss. Thought i would try and understand before i speak to hmrc and they baffle me thansk

Are you a very high earner? Eg in the 50% bracket?

Do you have more than one job? Or another source of income? Or do you owe tax from a previous tax year? Did you get a coding notice from HMRC?0
