I am currently in a battle with this company CIGIREX I used them last year and stopped for 7 months hence the reason I returned. On 10th January 2013 I ordered my ecig £39 for one pack and one pack of refils, numerous emails were sent chasing this then on 23rd January I received a letter from post office that my order was underpaid by £12.16 for customs, I emailed again telling them I refused to pay only to be ignored, I spent days posting on Facebook (and being blocked) till 30th January  Sara called me from USA saying if I was to collect and pay the fee they would FedEx a FOC duplicate order, needless to say I am still waiting been called again last night then hung up on and I've contacted better business bureau USA version of trading standards and I will be contacting our trading standards as I have found their trading address in London.0

I too ordered the cigirex menthol starter pack from one of my dad's sunday newspapers and it cost me £6.90 altogether.
I ordered it on the 16th of Jan, and received the product today. The product itself doesn't look too shabby.
Reading through the paperwork that come with it it seems that I have been signed up to their program in which they debit the account every month with the fee of £29.95+p&p. This would be fine if I had signed up to it. My issue with this is, on the website it offers you the option to do this, but having not ticked the box and followed the process I am a bit baffled as to how and why I am now part of this program.
I intend to go through the cancellation process for it, but as for everything else I have no issues with Cigirex or the customer service side. They kept me informed of my order and replied to any questions I had within 24hrs (even though order tracking was unavailable)
My opinion may be changed if they debit my account or I can't cancel the program, but so far so good.0 -
I ordered a trial Electronic Cigarette in Feb 2013 total £13.80
confirmation e-mail ;delivered ; no problem..........................
one month later £69.85 came out of my account ....I missed it ; one month after that another £69.85 came out , I noticed that!!! and immediately contacted my bank.........
I tried to phone Cigirex ....answerphone ....I have e-mailed them but am not holding my breath...............
as far as I can make out the devil is in the detail the small print....such as please try this sample for £13 but we reserve the right to take xx amount out of your account forever or until a much larger total is achieved???/surely there should be some legal protection over this???
also I had to change my debit card in march so how could this company continue to take funds with reference to an old card .....my bank says this is allowed????????????????
do not go anywhere near CIGIREX and beware of special offers online.............................
update..............
11th may
finally got my £140 refund not from Cigirex but 31 days after raising it with the Bank ( thank you Barclays .......LESSON LEARNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)0 -

You agreed to a Continuous Payment Authorisation on your card. With a CPA, the merchant can transfer the debit to the replacement card, because you authorised the debit prior to cancelling/changing the card.0 -
Never buy anything from this company - yes they are linked to Kelly Media who have had a heap of fraud problems. My partner recently bought a starter pack from them (which he received) then every month after that he was billed for nearly £70 (which has now been 2/3 months) and NO more products received from them, on ringing the bank to stop the Direct Debit he found that it was not a Direct Debit but an instruction that they could just take money (bascially), the bank told him that they would monitor what they took and would pay back in what this company took out from now. Now in the mean while both myself and my partner have tried numerous attempts to contact Cigirex via their facebook page and their so called website, both of the websites, and using their Ticket system on their website for the UK which looks nothing like another one I found for them in the USA. They have now taken off all posts we have put on their facebook wall and blocked my partner from messaging them and the only reply he got off the ticket system was that they would re-send his products, What we have asked on more than one occasion is to cancel the contract which we are entitled to do and a refund would be nice. When looking on their facebook page they have posted to all UK buyers that there is a problem with posting (in january - its now nearly may) saying that the packages have been stopped due to not enough postage - now anyone knows that the post office would just send you a ticket saying that there is a parcel at the post office but it needs paying the extra postage on before you can have it, also a big not that is we have had no letter to say that there is a problem with postage and why would a company just post that on their wall?? not everyone has facebook. We are so angry and I am upset now that we seem to be hitting brick walls with trying to get someone to cancel our contract. This is a con company in the extreme. We have both been really professional and I have kept all print screens of the messages and comments I have made to them. The only thing we can do next which is extreme is to get my partners account shut down and get another one (which we shouldnt have to do) ... Where do we go from here??? I am more worried about the fact that they could start taking more money at any time in the future and we would struggle to get it back off them0

If your partner has advised their bank that the CCA should be cancelled then they will ensure that no further payments are taken (they may end up being debited and then recredited).0 -

I really hope so as we only have one wage coming in - I can't believe these companies are actually still running. Thank you for telling me thatmuch appreciated. I just wish we could warn more people about this company or franchise of this company.
Thank you again0 -

If you paid by card you could also ask to start a chargeback on the grounds of non delivery (can be done after 15 days I believe). You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
my bank is looking into my claims of fraud and tell me it takes 31 days............which is just about now so I am watching my bank account very carefully as I am already £140 down and am still not sure if I will get the money back.....................................0
