Generally, buyers of quality brand watches will not use ebay or similar as there are so many believeable fakes about - that is why so few sell for anything like decent money. Knowledgeable buyers prefer to buy from trusted specialist sites or established secondhand retailers.

A quick Google search will show several established resellers who will pay a fair dealer price for the genuine article. Normally you send the watch to them by insured special delivery and they will verify its provenance and offer you a reasonable price.

Try the watch forum https://www.watchuseek.com they have classifieds.

  • Postage would have to be Special Delivery with added compensation - which means that up to a 500gm weight it would cost £21 up the value of £1,000 - something a bidder would also have to take into account.

Apologies, just noticed I was looking at the 'guaranteed before 9am' price band - Special Delivery Next Day (before 1pm) would be £7.35 for the same weight and compensation level.

I'll try Gumtree. What the lowest you'd accept for it seems as though its brand new and still being sold for £1095 in Goldsmiths?

    I am confused...

Are you asking yourself what you would sell it for?
