O2 contract legal side help plz

ok, due an upgrade and phoned up over a couple of days and they wouldn't budge on any good deals.

i was on 500xnet and 500txt £20/pm

didn't use anything near that and best offer they could do was 200 xnet and 150txt for 20/pm i needed a bolt on for gprs extra £5 pm as i was spending quite a bit on that.

got a SE z710i and hate it
put on a 18month contract too

now been up the high st and seem much better deals
3 doing 500xnet for £15.00
CPW £25 (by redemption) on O2 usuall £35 for 600xnet and 500txt

only upgraded on thursday and got phone friday, so do i still have 7 or 14 days to cancel my contract , really want to change my phone too, but willing to stay with O2 if they offer a decent deal.

just needed to know the legal side to it

I'm almost certain you have 14 days to cancel. ring up o2 CS and find out.

Have you tried looking here for what other o2 customers here have posted.

phone up O2 and asked about cancelling, got 14days to cancel, asked whither they could improve on the deal they gave me and pointed out the high st offers, they basically just said NO.

dont know whither they bluffing me or really can't beat it
don't really want to leave O2
do they phone you up and try to negotiate with you if you ask for your PAC code or are the CS not bothered if you go?
