2000 minutes on their long-weekend offer, so basically free calls over Sat, Sun, Mon.

1000 texts

£35 a month

Nokia N73 with Bluetooth headset.

Frankly, it doesn't seem like a great offer, but it is apparently the best they can do. I want to sell the phone on ebay and would like to make £200 or so on it, because I like my current phone. I've been a customer for 7 years, and this would be an eighteen month contract. Poo!

I use about 1000 texts a month and maybe 500 minutes.

This is incorrect they are xnet not including 0870..

    # Eligible 12 month contract customers can call free from their mobile to standard UK Landlines and UK mobiles from 12 midnight Friday until 12 midnight Monday for 6 months subject to usage limit stated below.
    # A usage limit of 2,000 minutes to UK mobiles and UK landlines per billing month applies. Calls to 0844, 0845 and 0870 numbers are excluded from the free long weekend minute allowance. https://shop.o2.co.uk/tariffSmallPrint#longWeekends

If its o2 long weekend for Pay as you go they are only 02 and land lines.

I think this is a good tariff but I want a discount and o2 said to me i could have £15 off but I would have to for go the long weekend so I am going to ask for them to change in to pay as you go.

this is the standard o2 £35 contract so they're not really giving you anything extra as this also comes with long weekends and on this tarriff the n73 is also free

Yep that's what I thought, nothing 'special' considering I've been there seven years!
