New house and wheelie bin

Hello all, We have just got our keys for our new house :j However, the family that lived there before us moved to a new build barratt house and took their wheelie bin with them. If your rubbish will only be collected in a particular type of bin then surely it is up to the council to supply one. If not, I would just buy a standard dustbin or leave bags out.

Would be outraged at having to pay for a particular type of bin just to get rubbish taken away.
