Current eBay glitch, best to email the seller with your transaction ID, ask them to check PP manually and then update the eBay order. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0

The package was not signed for, it came by just ordinary first class post through the letterbox.theonlywayisup wrote: »It's a clear SNAD. Doesn't matter if the buyer has signed or not. They can return what they were sent (the empty envelope) for a full refund.
However, OP, you will have to bear the cost of the return.
Op I just missed your post, we must have posted at the same time.
You have a clear SNAD but as has been pointed out, it will be a cheaper option to go INR. You are best keeping things very simple.0 -
The advice from your seller is wrong, as it is their responsibility to ensure the item reaches you. As it has not they should refund you soon as possible, not expect you to complain to the post office. So, I would make a SNAD claim. You don't want them showing the packaging made it to you causing the claim to be thrown out.
As for the bag, what does the postage label say about the weight, and how does it compare to the weight you'd expect the item to be?0 -
I would open an INR as you paid for an item & didn't get it.0

Update - Thanks to the information I received from this forum, I told the seller that he had to contact Royal Mail. Without any prompting he offered to send me a replacement, which I have now received.
Many, many thanks for all the advice that I got from you all!!!!!0
