i have to say, i wouldnt take out warrantys on things. my first washing machine was a bosch, never had a problem with it apart from the draining thing and to be honest that was my fault for putting stuff in the machine covered in cat hair. plus ive got long hair myself

i had it 13 years and OH (when we moved in together), was impatient with the drain thing and so we thought it was time for a new one, so now we have a miele. touch wood, we have had that 3 years, and it gets stuff with things with dog and cat hair on it, despite me nagging OH not to do this. i would like to think that will also last a good 13 or so years
