After spending many years camping across Europe with our children, I'd definitely recommend one of those tables that folds up with four seats - don't know what it's called but you'll know what I mean when you see it! It takes up less space in the car than a table, let alone the four chairs. When we first started camping, though, we didn't even have a table or chairs (we just sat on the ground) but I wouldn't recommend that for comfort!0
