    Afternoon everyone

So sorry to hear about people's losses, love and hugs sent your way.

It's been GORGEOUS here since early morning - can't believe tha change since the weekend! All my washing's dry, DS (20) laid out in the sun with a cool beer, DD (2.5) running around him with just t-shirt and knickers on (making an effort with the potty training! :D) and just about to go for DS (5).

Got a chicken in for tea - had it since Friday so it needs cooking - will just have with a few chips and salad for speed. Need to make DS birthday cake - he's actually 5 tomorrow - so kitchen will be stifling by tonight!

Have a lovely afternoon all, hugs and kisses to anyone in need.

Tru sorry to read about Molly
Dodgy hugs to all :grouphug: . Rather late today. OH had set alarm for 6  and once she'd gone I switched off the radio, fell asleep and next thing I knew it was nearly 9
The weather here is glorious. Can't believe last week I wore woolly gloves to work! I have been marking and just taking a breather before attacking the next load.
Mum came round for lunch (she's such an active OAP she's always off galavanting so it's ages since I saw her even though she only lives up the road). Made her very happy as I owed her £76 and paid it back in cash :T I also have my module spec ready for the meeting next Tuesday  If I can just catch up this marking...
OS wise had onion soup again from our 5kg sack with the last of the doggy bagged naan. Gave mum 5 onions - she chose the smallest ones :D I have got the Kindle version of Takeaway secrets and see there's a recipe for naan
Time to get back to marking. My mum, a retired teaching, says marking's like the poor - always with us :(

    Evening all,

Did not get chance to come on this morning, been enjoying the sun, my car said 31 deg earlier :D.

DD and I were going on a bike ride, but it was too hot for that, so we did 25 mins on the wii fit instead, blimey it was hard work, I have also started low carbing today, I need to shift a stone before our holibobs, (maybe even two stone :o)

Loads of washing done and dried and put away (I dont do ironing) kitchen and bathroom cleaned and hoovered through downstairs.

Still really hot here, I have just cut OH hair in the garden and it was boiling.

Tru so sorry to hear of Molly, at least it was peaceful xx

Good luck to all those doing exams atm xxx

    Have good evenings all xx

Evening-just enjoying a peaceful few mins on the lappie-first chance I've had, been in town with DS shopping, once I'd got 2 lots of washing on the line-dog blankets too :j.
Tru,very sorry to hear about Molly, its like she knew you'd given her blessing to go:( (((hugs)))

Thankfully Leo is not a roller in poo,but previous dogs have been, eeeugh.I think his stitches are now itching him like mad,he has tried to scratch the big side wound,so I may need to put a sock on his back foot like the vet recommended -she didnt have a bucket collar big enough for him :o.He only bashes into the wall with one on anyway and ends up wrecking it.Prob another 4 ish days till he can have them removed.

Oh ,OS,well apart from the line drying ,not a lot today-tea was roast turkey breast with jackets, both done in the Remoska, and salad.
Hugs to all in need, and good luck to Adelight, and others doing exams.
    xxx

    Evening All

Big Hugs Tru - she passed away knowing how much she was loved.
Adelight - Good luck with the exams.

Another lovely sunny day here and a lovely breeze this evening. Work was very hot - the heating was on! Typical council building when it's cold they turn the heating off and when it's 25 degrees we have to boil!!

Went for a much needed haircut after work so I no longer have a dark streak along my head, it is all one colour again. It is getting curlier again as I get older.

DD had started cooking the chicken for dinner when I got in which was good, washing all dried outside and has been folded and put away. Going to chill for the rest of the evening, I need an early night! Take care. XX

    Hi all.

Is this summer? Actually went out today without coat or jumper - first time this year. Freed my summer clothes from their vacuum bags today. Very dispiriting. There seemed to be quite a lot until I put back the ones that no longer fitted. I WILL NOT get any more in a larger size - so cross my fingers that the tiny fork diet works, or the OMG diet works or old fashioned self control suddenly makes an appearance - ANYTHING!

Still using up food from the weekend - finished off the cauliflower cheese for lunch with some crusty HM bread and tomatoes. Not terribly hungry at teatime so had a small piece of toast with a boiled egg. Oh, and some rhubarb and ice cream, just a spoonful of each. The Rev has a cold and can't taste anything so she has to have what I am having today, although she did have some fish for tea - I don't really do fish.

Tru: so sorry to hear about Molly, but what a lovely end to life for her.

LW: We are getting the Island aired for you, it is glorious today. I do hope you get some good days next week, this is so lovely when the sun shines. Is this an 'organised' holiday or are you doing your own thing?

All those with dogs with regrettable eating habits remind me of when we had a load of pig manure delivered. The lorry deposited it in the front garden. Fortunately it was bitterly cold so the smell was kept at a bearable level, (provided we kept all the windows shut.)
I looked out of the window to see two dogs rolling in it in absolute ecstasy. I bet their owners were thrilled when they got home.

    Back to the magazine.

    Good night all.
