Sent an e-mail of complaint to the address given in my last post and requested a read receipt, which was received yesterday.

No response as yet to my e-mail but received a phone call today from their collections manager who appeared to be aware of the contents within my e-mail.
Was put strait through to their fraud department without giving an account number ! (which I don't have anyway).
After confirming my address, was informed that there appears to be a problem with the account in question.

I have now been advised that my number will be removed from their systems and I will not here from them again :)

Thanks for all advice and contributions :T

P.S. For anyone experiencing the same problem as me, I would advise making a complaint in writing or by e-mailing the company boss, (if known) as soon as possible !

Feel free to cut and paste from below.

I am contacting you in relation to the quantity and frequency of telephone calls that I have received from your company over the past few months with regards to an alleged account, which you claim belongs to myself.

I would point out that I have no knowledge of any such account or debt being owed to (Fashion World) and consider these calls to be personally harassing.

I do not have a reference number for obvious reasons and have attempted to co-operate in this matter on several occasions. This has proved impossible without providing personal details that I am not prepared nor obliged to disclose on a daily basis by telephone conversation.

Your company are aware of a previous conversation where I did provide personal information, however were unable to continue the call as my details did not match the account details in question.

I am therefore advising that your company stop contact me by telephone with regards to what appears to be a fraudulent account and that my telephone number is removed from your systems.
My telephone number for your record is (***************).

Your company's continued harassment of me by telephone may put you in breach of Section 40 of the Administration of Justice Act (1970). If you continue to harass me by telephone, you will also be in breach of the Communications Act (2003) and this will be reported to OFCOM.

I await your confirmation that this matter has been dealt with. Otherwise I will have no option but to start harassment proceeding against your company.

I look forward to your reply.

    Yours faithfully,

    MacBudman

(Please note that I reported this company to Ofcom before sending this complaint but "That's Life" :p).
