Tescos Credit Card

Think I prefer the old version. However that was full of flaws as well. I had tons of problems yesterday and had to re register my online account but havent tried it yet today. Could be worse - have you tried post office on line banking - you wil never complain about Tesco again if you have:)Smile though your bank is breaking:)0

Hi, I didn't have any problems logging in with the new site. I am currently in credit with my Tescos credit card by about £5, but could do with a 0% offer. Does anyone know if they might be doing a 0% transfer offer for old customers?0

wait til you try and make an online payment - upgrade has completely cocked up their system with payments being refused cause system doesnt recognise 3d security details previously registered or asks for 2ndry card holders details when primary card used for transaction - online help desk have no idea when, how or if it will be sorted - another wonderful banking ''upgrade''0

I was able to access it ok, until I tried to use one of the new features - it was then that I was asked to 're-register'. Annoyingly, they have to text you on a number already registered, but I'm overseas for a couple of months without my phone, so will have to wait.
I did notice they now allow you to transfer from your CC to a standard bank account - but couldn't see how this is charged / what it costs.0 -

No idea, but it would be better to start your own thread rather than posting on one about something totally unconnected.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0 -

That is called a money transfer. There is no fee only interest. It is the same as your purchase interest rate, however it is charged on a daily basis like cash is.
Hope that helps.

I have also been advised that my Tesco Online Banking details are locked, and have been asked to re-register. This seems like a classic phishing scam to obtain login details. If it is genuinely from Tesco, they should allow you to log in with existing details, to verify who you are, and then get you to upgrade your security details.
I rang the online help-desk and spoke to a girl who thought it was sufficient security to ask for an upgrade of details based only on my submitting a user name as my initial verification. For all I know, someone may have put a dummy phone number on the website, and be trying to reassure customers to give their details.
Did anyone at MoneySavingExpert manage to get independant and valid confirmation from Tesco that this was a legitimate but poorly executed security update?0
