Tescos Credit Card

I am an established Tescos credit card holder and manage my account online. Tescos Bank have upgraded their system and I signed in to check my account 2 days ago without any problem. I have just tried to sign in again to check if an expected credit has reached my account and the online system is telling me my account is locked and that I need to upgrade my security to get onto the new system. Hitting the 'upgrade' button to do this takes me to a screen entitled 'Register for online banking' asking me to enter my card number, full name, postcode and date of birth - and all on one screen. i.e. my full identity!. I've not received any pre-notification from Tescos Bank that this action will be required and I am already an established user whose used the system for a number of years. Calling Tescos customer service has drawn a blank - can anyone advise (Martin can you/one of your team confirm with Tescos Bank for all their cardholders) that this is a bona fide requirement and get them to a) annotate the screen to show this is for established users to get access to the new system, and b) split the information input so not all on one screen. Ie. protect their customers identity. Thanks

DON'T do it, never put any personal data in. Seems to me like your firewall is compromised, get your pc/laptop sorted before logging on again!0

I have a Tesco credit card and can confirm that the internet banking site has changed today
I am able to log with my existing username and password however
The new platform is the same/similar to the Tesco savings account oneHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
I too was able to log in with my usual details and haven't been asked for any additional data.
I had an email today telling me my statement was ready, but when I go in the latest statement is for April. Anyone else had this?0 -
I received an email today with the subject line - "Tesco Bank credit card - Your online statement"
It doesn't mention that a particular statement is ready though (unless I missed that bit)Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Not just the OP - I, too, have been locked out of my Tesco Credit Card account after the upgrade. I get a message that I need to re-register, which I have done - now awaiting activation details through the post.... again!
Very frustrating as I only registered for the first time last week!0 -
I've just logged in to my credit card account as usual using my username and selected digits from the PIN and password. The site layout has changed but I don't see any reason for any extra security information - it seems dubious to me.We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.

I've been told that I need to accept new 'terms and conditions', but thats it. Everything else is normal, no requests to reregister or anything like that.0

Is this the update they've been advertising? It is a tiny improvement but it still looks pretty dreadful compared to any other bank.0

Thanks to everyone who has responded. I've just managed to talk to Tescos Bank cust svcs who have confirmed there are a number of teething problems with their new system, the issues started on Sunday, and that they are working on them and hope to have a fix tonight so it should be OK again tomorrow Weds 22nd May. They are taking people's details and calling them back. The number to call if you need to talk to them is 0845 300427 and select option '0' to talk to someone.0
