    10pc depreciation allowance is to cover all the furnishings---if the allowance is applied to the mattress 10pc of 500 is a shrinkage of 50 quid a year which means the mattress should last 10 years according to the HMRC

    I recently bought a couple of mattresses from matressesonline. You will be able to find something within budget there. They deliver next day, but beware they wont take beds upstairs.
