Will Vodafone's 'outbound' dept match T-Mobile's 12 month Fully Monty Package
I'm expecting a call from Vodafone's disconnections department. Obviously they have more discretion than the regular upgrades department.
The plan I want them to match is the 12 month, sim only, Full Monty package on T-Mobile. This includes unlimited minutes, texts, and data. It's £31/month.
Does anyone here have experience in negotiating with Vodafone? Will they be able to match this package?

Very very very unlikely. That's because Vodafone don't offer unlimited call plans for non-business users. For business users they offer Vodafone one-net for around 50-60 quid a month which includes unlimited calls/text but can't see them discounting this by 50%. Having said all this i'm on a Vodafone sim only plan & i pay 20.50 a month for 1200 x-network mins, unlimited landlines, unlimited texts, 500mb data and 0845/0870/0800 calls included.0

Sounds like a decent deal. That'll work for me if I can get them to increase the data to 2gb.
Are the landlines actually unlimited or is it something like 1000 extra mins?0 -
Just had a call from the retention team at Vodafone.
They offered, and I accepted, the following:
Free HTC One X
3000 mins
0845/0870 numbers
Unlimited texts
2gb internet
33.50/month on an 18month contract - not bad :-)0 -
