Diesel prices have dropped by 8p a litre round my way in recent weeks, which is more than the fuel duty increase. Looking at oil prices and how they have dropped in the last 4-6 weeks we should see some more drops in price coming through to us."You should know not to believe everything in media & polls by now !"

Yes, and also I'm sure I heard there was some clause where if the oil price dropped then the duty would be increased even more.grizzly1911 wrote: »Just in time for the duty to up.

Does anybody else think that a "price war" (as Sainsburys discount was touted in the news) should last a bit longer than a week? I went yesterday and the promotion was but a distant memory. Scam if you ask me.0
