I use autoglym Bumper Care to get rid of the marks from exterior plastic , and it leaves a nice glossy shine as well

In case anyone near MK wants one, Westcroft in Milton Keynes had loads in stock at the weekend. Bletchley had none.
My mind not only wanders .......... sometimes it leaves completely

Bought one yesterday and tried it out last night.

Must say I'm not overly impressed so far. The soaping part is really poor. It uses a ridiculously high amount of soap per wash as well. I can't see the refill bottle lasting 8 washes. And even though I have quite high water pressure, the sprayer is not very powerful at all, so the rinsing doesn't really shift any dirt which doesn't put you in a good position when you start spongeing. It dried OK, but the car didn't come out especially clean to be honest despite more arm effort than usual. Lacks shine shall we say. I'll give it one more chance, but after that it might be the scrap heap for mine.

Blades are OK as long as you are sure you have washed the car throughly, just get a speck of grit between the blade and your paint and its scratch city.
waffle weave cloth or a microfibre and pat the car dry is the safest way. I am yet to try the flash deionised water.

Ok the deionised water and flash soap seem to work together, it does dry and it is streak free. I still went over it with the waffle weave towel as I only tested a small section sprayed the soap no rubbing and just rinsed I should have rinsed it with normall water to see if the deionised water made a difference maybe next time.
I expect there is some sort of wax in the flash soap.

I still waxed the car though finished about an hour ago. I didnt try it on mine I did my sisters corsa its smaller than my vectra but it looks fantastic.

Some people obviously aren't reading the instructions fully to obtain best effects.

The soap suds don't need to be all frothy, as you put some on the part you are cleaning then spray some onto your sponge, that way you get sufficient suds.

OK you don't get great pressure, but then you aren't wasting water by using a pressure washer either.

As for the de-ionised water, it does exactly what it says on the tin, my windscreen has never so clear after using this system.

For the reduced price it's brilliant VFM.
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)

OK, it isn't perfect, but I've had one for a while now and it's saved me hours. Just to give a perspective on this, I have a couple of Galaxies and a Picasso and can do 2000 miles some weeks. They get washed when they are really dirty and not before. I get loads of washes from the shampoo by spraying directly onto a large sponge and the filter does much more than 10 washes 'cos I use it only after a good rinse with unfiltered water. I can wash all three in half an hour.

A little tip, try washing the house windows with it. It cleans UPVC frames a treat and saves a fortune.

Finally, always use plastic gloves 'cos it plays hell with your hands.

Are you not finding it difficult getting the refills as they've stopped selling these as far as I can tell?
This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!
