Flash Car Wash System

Ok apologies if this is a bit long winded. I have seen the flash car wash system in Poundstretcher priced up at £6.99. However, I recently went to Instore (same company as poundstretcher) and a sign in the window suggested they were £4.99. I did not see any in stock at this store, although I did not look hard as it was closing time. But I have definitely seen them for £6.99 in poundstretcher and the RRP is £19.99.

Only problems are - refills of shampoo and filters cost alot more than the shampoo sticks you put in those cheap brush hose attachments that you can get at wilkinsons, tescos, probably even poundland. I am sure I read somewhere that the line was discontinued, not certain on this but wilkinsons seemed well stocked on the refills (with the full kit at £19.99).

Hopefully this will help someone, and maybe even I will get one if I can be convinced they are better than a bucket of water, car shampoo, a big sponge, wax and a polishing cloth.

Went to Makro today and managed to pick up some very cheap Flash car wash system refills as they are doing a clearance.

These prices exclude VAT.

£1.48 - Auto Dry Filter
£0.98 - Concentrated Car Shampoo

You will need to be a member to buy but I'm sure there are several Money Savers that are members of Marko!

I picked up 5 of each myself, so grab them while you can!

thats a very good price, I jsut paid 3.00 per bottle of shampoo, shame i'm not a member of makro or know anyone that it is.

If anybody would like to get some for me, I'll pay postage and give you a little something for your time.

Instore are now doing the Auto Dry refils for 99p each - Ablosute bargin!

Also, they are selling the shampoo for £1.99.

I picked up a couple of refills last year in Asda cheap but not as cheap as Makro!

I heard this was being discontinued too but it works well and leaves the car clean and smear free. Perhaps not as cheap as car shampoo and water but saves a fortune if you go to the car wash regularly.

Morrisons were doing the system for £9.99 and Shampoo and Auto Dry Filters for £1 Each... I cleared the shelf in my local (11 Shampoos and 8 Auto Dry Filters).
