Im wanting to get the laptop wirelessly connected and was thinking of buying something like this, anyone bought 1 and was happy or has anyone bought a similar 1 ?

Something of that size would be quite good as less likely to get damaged as its small compared to the longer usb wireless devices you can get.

What's the make and model of the laptop? I presume you've already checked it doesn't have wireless LAN card installed?
How do I add a signature?

Physically broken, or just not working?

    Where is the button?

    What is the model number?

There may be another way to switch wifi on/off.

Check in the control panel to see if you have Windows Mobility Center.

    (shortcut is Windows key + X )

Windows key and X doesn't do anything

Checked the manual and no shortcut for wireless is mentioned.

Did you look in the Control Panel for Windows Mobility Center? I'm looking at the manual entitled TravelMate 3270/3260/2480 Series User's Guide - section 13 (Page 31)
How do I add a signature?
