1 Add/remove programs
2. Prgrams
3. My computer/programs (& prgram files if on Vista/7)

It isn't a virus nor other kind of malware. It's just a toolbar and/or changes to your browser settings that you agree to when installing certain (legit) software (Bandoo Media, inc).
They do have a generous affiliate program, so it's possible it could be abused by unscrupulous affiliates who in some cases use malware to get the software installed.

Tried your suggestion and downloaded the Anvi smart defender and yes it worked but it really does slow down my system which is win 7 based, when I uninstalled pc went back to normal"Imagination is more Important than knowledge"0 -

If it has removed searchnu from your system it has done it's job, so you can uninstall it before re-installing your preferred anti-virus program (you did uninstall your old AV before installing anvi, right?)How do I add a signature?0
