Hi LJ!! How are you doing?

Well, I didn't get as far as going for a nap - did a bit of work instead, but wasn't overly productive sadly as I was tired. So, just hopped in the shower to wake myself up, having another cup of coffee (yes, I surprise myself sometimes) and then go and get ready for clients this afternoon. Will carry on working when I get back in the house this evening.

I hope everyone else is having a good day x

Hypno, I'm a bit worried about you - don't burn yourself out. Have you got any days off coming up when you will be able to relax a little bit? I've a feeling I already know the answer to that...:o

yup, you know the answer to that one :o

If clearance doesn't come through for the new job next week, then I can perhaps get a quiet day next week. Of course if clearance comes through, I will be starting work, but I am hoping that I will actually have more time to rest when I am to work than I do now.....in a strange sort of way!!

Anyway, I am sure I don't do any more than most of you lot - it's just I moan about it more :rotfl:

Lol, I am ABSOLUTELY certain you do more than me!! :D

When you eventually do get that elusive day of relaxation, you will probably sit down and think 'well, this is boring', and get straight back up again! :rotfl:

I am absolutely sure you do more than I do. I'm feeling virtuous having managed to do all the washing up (until I had lunch, lol...).

We reallly do understand that you have to do all this just to keep your head above water (oh, and send the kids skiing for weeks on end...) but it is a really fine balancing act, and we worry for you, thats all.

    Have a good day.

Thanks guys for worrying. It is lovely to know that people care. And I am just as quick to post concerns about other posters on DFW, so I *know* what you mean. I just worry myself that if I stop, if I allow myself any space at all, then I just won't get where I need to be. I know that if I burn myself out then I will be no use to man, beast nor ski mad children, but I am sort of assuming that I won't get that bad!!

You all know what I mean, I *know* you do!!

One day, though, the pressure will be off and I can ease off a bit......just not for the next few weeks......

    Client due any min....better go!

    Hi Hypno
Glad that the skiing total is doing so well. When do you have to have the money by?

    Good luck with the clients

Just had a fight with Wilkinsons-went in there to take advantage or their Spend £50 and delivery is Free offer in the window-after lugging my shop to the till-discovered it only applied to on-line shops (in tiny letters) and this was confirmed by a Gordon Britas type manager who talked to me like I was 6. Stomped home to order on-line (via Quidco of course) and discovered the quilt cover I wanted was out of stock (although was in-store) so rang customer services to complain about what a waste of bloody time it all was. End result is that there is a free quilt cover and fitted sheet waiting for me at the store so £50 spend ended up been no spend.(The other stuff can wait) Result !

excellent duchy - it's reading things like this that mean I make sure I complain when things go wrong because I know I'm not the only one - £50 cash from John Lewis and a £5 voucher from Sainsburys last week alone so it just shows it's worth it!

Haven't been on here for a while - I've managed to be very productive and very busy at work and home too so apart from occasional pop ins at home to catch up with my favourites (your diary included Hypno ;) ) I've been suffering from MSE withdrawal - have lost all my motivation now though so feel quite safe!

Ski money is going up great and hope you get some good money in from those recordings - you put such a lot of effort into them.

Bathrooms got abandoned last week as I saw friends on Saturday and did gardening on Sunday so just time for a quick clean around but need to tackle them tomorrow night as inlaws are coming for the day on Saturday. OH is doing really well in the office too so that's good - that's our major 'bug-bear' room.

hope you've had a good day hypno and everyone else.
