  • Good morning Hypno

Brilliant leap in the ski total thanks to your hard work:j . Isn't it lovely to get a big payout and wipe hundreds off the total all at once rather than just add dribs and drabs each week? You must be elated today, although the dribs and drabs method pays off too eventually and is what us long-haul DFWers survive on!

Hope the cold responds and goes away soon. Probably won't worsen now into the sort your DH is suffering with.

Did I miss something or have you not reported any sales/income yet from those intriguing-sounding CDs that you were making when I first started reading your diary?

    Have a productive day
    Imp x

    Pania.

Hi guys, back from tutorial, all went well. I think I am going to go and put my head down for an hour before I get on with work/clients/life!

CD thingies are almost ready - the site goes live any day now.........quite exciting! I just hope they bring in some money - even a little will help!

P, I will be round for coffee tomorrow - will inspect that housework.....

    LOL Oh nooooooo Pania
Hypno you can't possibly do all that without multi-vits-coffee and plain chocolate so make it three out of three.
New experience for me this week-I got to post on the "I Won" thread :) Now inspired to get back into competitions big time-I did really well in the past winning "wants" and even a few "needs" (Best was £5K CASH !) and all it costs is time as it's all on-line and any unwanted prizes go well on Ebay-especially DVDs and games.
One more cup of coffee and time to tidy DS's bedroom -Urghhhhh -but the painting can wait til he's at his Dad's this weekend.

Wow duchy, did you really win 5k cash? How did you do that?

I've had lots of wins but mostly small things. The biggest was a washing machine.

I won a watch. Actually there were 2 to be won and both went to MSEers :)
Actually I won two lots of £5k about two years apart. First was with a site now long gone called Tombola-basically it was scratchcards (free ones) -a friend won £100 the first week it opened so I decided to do it too-and won about three months later. They were lovely people. I told them I was going on holiday 2 days later so they expressed the payment so I could pay it in before I left so it would clear whilst I was away. The other was a draw with Letts diaries-again on-line. They rang me to say I'd won their draw and I said "Oh that was ages ago-I forget what the prize is" and they replied "£5000 cash" For once I was lost for words LOL
I also won £4500 on the telly-but I earned every penny of that as I had to endure interacting on camera with David Dickinson all day <cringe>.
I did audition for a few game shows recently-Pyramid (which I didn't get on but a friend did and won £1000), Identity and Golden Balls (I was the standby for that 3 times-and felt very posh with my own dressing room at the TV centre :)).
    End of Hijack :)
