Just had a little wobble (panic type, not cellulite type - that sort of wobble happens all the time...)

The postman had a signed for letter for me and I couldn't tell what it was prior to opening.

Had a panic that it was someone chasing me for something that I was unaware of or had forgotten. I am not used to getting signed for post.

So imagine my relief when I opened it and it was my holiday tickets for next week!!!

Thank goodness for that - panic over (although wobbly cellulite still remaining).

Off to the bank now to pay in this week's "takings". Next week is looking quite quiet so far but I suppose there is still time for things to pick up.

Good evening, it's a bit quiet on these boards tonight. I think everyone is either watching Comic Relief or has, wait for it........a life.

    How VERY dare they....

Made another £50 ish this afternoon on Matched betting so will soon be paying a lump off the dreaded Egg card. Although I have made £400 in the last few weeks, I need to keep a fair amount of it in Betfair so can only use a little to go towards Egg at the min but it is a good start and I am determined to get rid of that card.

Also, I sold my Dad's old dishwasher that has been in my garage for the last year or so. I asked £40 for it but she said that she intended paying £60 and that it was worth £60 so insisted on paying the extra! So, that will pay for tomorrows Karate grading for the children and still leaves me £20 towards the debt pot :D

Today the allocation questionnaire landed on my doorstep for Hypno v Barclays. I had a quick read through it but will really knuckle down to it on Monday and try and find some way of photocopying all those statements to send to the court etc. I don't think my little printer/photocopier thing I use at home will cope with that volume!

I had a bit of an expensive day - bloody kids!! £40 for a karate grading this morning and £20 race entry fees for skiing this evening plus food and drinks means I am seriously skint (as if that is anything new). However, they did really well in both events so I can be a proud Mummy :D

On the plus side, I did a couple of presentations today that will hopefully net me in a few new clients and made £16.17 matched betting which will go towards the egg card so hopefully things will sort themselves out.

Such an exciting day here, I just don't know how I am coping.....

Coffee and cold toast brought to me on a tray in bed, bless my lovely children.

And since then... .... what should every mum do on Mother's Day.... ......

Yes, I have been washing and ironing all day! the mountain is not going down, indeed I fear it is growing.

If no-one hears from me for a few days, please send in the Ironing Rescue Service. I may be buried....

awww hypno, bless the kids for the coffee and toast...doubt my sis would have done that for my mum! I do remember once making mum coffee in bed, but it was april fools day so there was more random things in there than coffee :rotfl:

I'll keep an eye out over the ironing and phone 999 if needs be :D

Today I was all geared up to do a bit of credit card overpaying, as I was sure that my DH's 2nd job pays on 19th of the month. So I logged on to online banking getting all excited (yes, I AM that sad) only to find out that it doesn't go in to the bank until tomorrow.

So, that lovely overpaying feeling will have to wait another day.....

Today I paid an extra £183 off DH's MBNA card, with money he has earnt from his 2nd Job, plus £60 off my egg card :j

I have made another £26.21 matched betting in the last day or so, so that is just over half of my weekly target and is nicely keeping me on track for clearing my egg card in 12 months time.

I have also started packing for my hols at the end of the week - well, I say pack - I really mean "shoving stuff in a bag and hoping I can close it....."

Tomorrow I will be aiming to complete my AQ for my claim against barclays so that it is lodged with the court before my hol. The downside, of course, is the need to pay another £100 but at least I should get that back in due course.

Didn't have enough time today to do my allocation questionnaire as I had a rush of last minute clients, so that becomes a job to do tomorrow between clients. I really want to take it to the court before I go on holiday on Friday so that I know for definate it has been delivered.

Having just seen the whistleblower program on BBC1 I am even more determined to get my money back

A couple of weeks ago I asked for a credit balance (YES I HAVE A CREDIT BALANCE SOMEWHERE) on my mint card to be sent to me. I chased it up today and they haven't done anything!!! So he said he can arrange it but it takes up to 28 days! Again it is one rule for us and another for them. Could you imagine if I said "yes, I will pay you a cheque for the agreed monthly amount, but it will take up to 28 days for me to process". I think not.....

But, anyway, it is £266 that should be coming my way in the next few weeks.

The weekend presentations I did netted me a couple of new clients this week so that was good - lets hope it continues :T

DFW wise, that was it for today - no time for anything else.

Back from holidays this evening. I did really well with the budget - me and my friend had a kitty of cash as we were both on a budget and we stuck to it right down to the last euro. :A

Unfortunately, then on the last day our bags got pinched while we were having our lunch! We were in our ski stuff and EVERYTHING else was taken so we had to get the emergancy plastic out and buy clothes and shoes etc to go home in otherwise we would have looked rather strange on eurostar in our ski kit, not to mention a bit whiffy!

So although we will hopefully be able to claim on the holiday insurance, it was a bit of a downer to an otherwise very DFW successful holiday.

Other than the bags going missing (and I don't know which lucky thief has my week's worth of dirty washing.....) we had a fab time.

And of course, at least now I don't have a mountain of laundry to do now that I am back home. Every cloud.......

Back to DFW/MSE with a vengence tomorrow - I have missed you guys and these boards big time!
