Hello, can't help but reading to see what is going on. Have yet to even LOOK at piggy clicks kindly sent by Hypno06...will do it once I get a moment to start. Work is going well. New job started on Monday, nothing like I have ever done to date....working in a garden centre with plants, mainly. Fab. Had to fork out a lot for after school care for the youngest and to date we have had a run on bills. However, have been updating the budget, got a new statement from the bank this morning. Discovered ICELAND. What with that and ASDA, the food bill will be coming down. Am trying to get it right down with all teething probs ironed out before OH takes the big salary cut. (without compromising my very strong belief in making most things from scratch.) He says he does not want to feel as if he has no life and wants to go out to dinner weekly once the new job starts...we don't do that now! I know what he means though, it is dreadful to feel as if you can never do anything due to lack of cash. But my take on that now is, make your own fun.
Chose new tiles for the bathroom, job longed planned and budgeted for, the work starts next month.
Picked up a fabulous sheepskin coat for £20 pounds at British Red Cross. That is me sorted. The last coat I bought was 11 years ago!!
DD has a school trip tomorrow in which she will be 'evacuated' like kids were during WWII. I have to make a gas mask box this afternoon.
Have realised though that all the nipping and tucking budget wise is not really going to show short term. I am always in a hurry to see results and savings, but we have a lot to sort out in the next three months. Reveiwing fuel charges, all insurance and anything else that can be cut. We'll get there. Have a good day all.0 -

Perhaps if was a local paper Hypno and nothing about your financial situation? But I don't know how many dfws there are in your neck of the woods who'd cotton on???
If they did it thro' school or their skiing club would that make it better or worse?
Or is there a way of going for it bigtime without using your name.
The only way forward is for martin to take over one of the Sundays and rename it "MSE Sunday Tomes" and feature you as "Hypno and kids" in the first issue.:rotfl: :rotfl:CCs @0% £24k Dec 05 £19,621.41 Au £13400 S 12600 Oct £11,981 £9481 £7500 Nov £7250 D £7100 Jan 6950 F £5800 Mar£5400 May £4830 June £4660 July £4460 Aug £3200, S £900, £0 18/9/07 DFW Nerd 0420 -

Back!!!! I lost the internet at lunchtime and have just got it back. I hate techie stuff!!!!!
In the few hours I was "lost" again, I had some acupuncture which was fine, but has made me a bit tired, and due to the lack of MSE I had to resort to doing some housework.
Quite scary this - did loads of work Tues and Weds and did some housework today! I hope I do not lose my internet any more - I cannot cope with all this "normal" stuff!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. :rotfl: omigod, they are so precious! Hiya! How you? Are you back or not? If you're not, of course, you're a figment of my imagination, and I should be sectioned, so I *really* hope you're back. Missed you! :rotfl: :money: :money:2023: the year I get to buy a car0
