Awww I didn't realise Spendaholics was on....I was washing up then vacuuming when I could have been shouting at the TV too! :rolleyes:

Impressed you've gone past £750 already Hypno! Wish I could send you printer cartridges but where I work is so tight you can't even get black biros without the Spanish inquisition let alone try and wrestle cartridges out....if there's something in it for *them* they'll squeeze out every last drop. Grrr.

Actually, spendoholics was very good - the girl embraced all the very sensible suggestions that were made, and took great pride in shopping at Aldi instead of M&S etc.

I hope she stuck to it, she was doing really well. Usually it is the two "life coaches" that I shout at for not giving sensible DFW suggestions, but today it was all pretty good!

But then again - my alternative was leaving what was there to get trodden into a cream coloured carpet :eek: (men! :mad:) or go out & spend money.

I sent it to an agency - and they are putting me forward for a job as soon as they get the job spec in (apparently).

Apart from that no - because foolishly I forgot to buy a job paper 2 weeks running! :mad:

However I am starting to look online and I *will* be applying soon, as soon as something good comes up.

The problem is getting time off to go for interviews....I'm not good at throwing sickies....

Our local paper puts its job section on line so would be worth having a look to see if yours does the same.

Lots of places are more flexible - you might be able to get an early morning or late afternoon interview that would be easier for you to get to? Always worth asking.

I am sure things will come together soon for you.

Thanks hypno - you are right actually as I had a job interview on a Saturday quite recently! Didn't get it - glad actually as I thought bloke was a bit of an ar5e. Sat there with his shirt open as well with masses of grey hair on show. :eek: _pale_
