Afternoon all,
Think its warmed up a bit here :jDull though.Just done a shop, first at L1d1 for veg, yogurt, loo rolls etc, then MrS,where I got quite a few YS.Its the unpacking I hate but all done now.
Yesterday flew by as DH was looking at a couple of jobs in the morning, then we had to call at DBs as it was his OH birthday.Stayed longer than planned as his SD was there with her new baby and I had to have a cuddle. They were all off to a chinese buffet and asked us to join them, but H wanted to go somewhere else first and the timing was wrong.I took a box of handmade cards over as SIL has said she will take them into work to see if she can sell some,so fingers crossed.I enjoy doing it,but it would be even better if I could get a bit of money back
Just had hm thai chicken soup for lunch,& plenty left.Rare treat of steak for tea tonight.Hope its a good day for you all.
Bitsy-hope you enjoyed your me time yesterday.Wandering round the hobbyshop is a fave of mine too.
HH hope the ankle is better soon.
DDoll-hope your team is succesful.
Glad to see you posting Lou.

Afternoon all
I'm just back from Tesco, stocked up on some bargains (tinned toms 3 for £1, anchor butter 2 for £2) and also got some good YS stuff - rice noodles 25p, stirfry veg 25p, garlic&herb cheddar 75p, tesco own fake butter 43p. Noodles and Strifry will do tonights tea and a work lunch, fake butter has gone in freezer.
As the sun peeked out I decided to stop off on the way home at a car park at the bottom of my estate. I figured there must be a park or something there as I could see a path. Turns out there is a small lake and woods!! As I'm not local to this town I didn't realise it was there! I had a 20min walk around and it seems lovely, saw some kids fishing in the pond. So I am going to start doing a walk round it 3 times a week and then build up to running eventually. There is an entrance to the path from my estate, and it also leads towards my new work place so will have to explore what is at the end of it!
I wish the sun would make up it's mind. I'd like to sit outside this afternoon but the sun keeps hiding :rotfl:

Afternoon everyone.
İt has been a long time since i posted here. i have been trying to 'obsess' about money less!--but i am feeling decidedly 'broke' now.- all my savings have been sucked up by my wife's business so my avatar is way out of date!--i just hope i have done the right thing!
Healthwise i have had a bad back over the past 3 weeks and my wife finally dragged me to the doctor. As owners of a business we have to pay the top rate of health insurance which allows us to go to any private hospital --the initial prognosis is that i have a herniated disc at the bottom of my back which is causing the pain, i was against going to the docs and soldiering on.--tomorrow i will go for scans and alsorts of tests because i also have a long list of other symptoms that they will investigate.---my wife despairs at why i wont go to the docs!!!i think its because my doctor in the uk never did anything to sort things out and i accepted the issues as untreatable!
i live in Turkey!mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0 -
evening all.
worked all day and now at home. hubby made a fab roast beef - yellow stickered to £3.00 and its going to do a beef curry for tomorrow so thats £1.50 for the meat for two meals. thats good. it was all ready for me when i got in from work and he had also done a load of little jobs that needed doing in the house. hes a superstar:j
just done a food inventory for the freezer and put all my food in a meal plan. got loads in there so hppefully i can just do top up shops.
tomorrow is beef curry for us and beef casserole for the moaners...ie children.
did a list of jobs for each day for next week ....gosh what an organised week. all i need to do is sort out the over draft and credit cards sorted which hopefully will be done in a couple of weeks. then i want to add to the christmas savings.#
heres hoping

Evening all, just back from Dds and we had a lovely roast lamb dinner and there's enough left over for me to knock up a sheps pie for her tomorrow for when she comes home from work.Tomorrow is going to be a bit busy as I have the school run first, then one of the boys has to be at the dentist to have a coating?? put on his teeth(the dentist said it will help to keep his teeth longer) our Dentist is great innovator for children choppers
and will do anything to help them keep their teeth longer which is good.Hopefully I will be able to drop Henry back at school and be home by 10.30 as I have a 10.30-2.00 slot for the heating engineer who is due to service my boiler .Be my luck he will be on the doorstep when I get here.Whilst he's sorting my boiler out I am hoping to get my computer room tidied a bit as its begining to pile up with bits and bobs that get dropped for putting away and never get that far IYSWIM.I also have to nip round to DDs and let the dogs out for a wee and make some cakes for my eldest DDs school.Oh and if I have a spare half an hour I want to pick up some essential shopping as I haven't been in a food shop for 8 days and I'm running out of fresh milk/bread and veg.Oh the joys of being retired I think I shall meet myself coming back tomorrow.Still my cold is drying up a bit which is good.Hope you all have had a good Sunday and enjoyed yourselves
take care all
Good night, God Bless all here
