hubby has one suit he wears for weddings and funerals.. with lilac and purple shirt/tie for the weddings and grey shirt/black tie for funeralsHave a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0

OH wears a suit everyday so wearing a suit to him isnt dressing up if he wears black suit white shirt so for weddings he tends to wear his navy suit a dark shirt (his is a darker shade of navy) and a tie that goes with my dress. I dont think I would necessarily avoid a white shirt as its the easier and usually cheaper option but for a grey suit id try find a nice shade of grey to go with it or maybe even black

Any colour combination that looks smart and depending on time of year. If he usually wears a bowtie then that should be fine.
Whatever you do, don't try to match the tie to the bridesmaids! If I was the bride I wouldn't care less, but apparently lots of brides can get seriously put out about that sort of thing.0
