    morning all

have been mia recently but have been lurking on and off. have been feeling unwell with pregnancy. blood pressure is high and had a couple of funny turns. so now under consultant and having regular checks. trying not to end up on medication for it... i have the same when pregnant with ds but wasnt this bad this early :( just about to hit the 20 week mark. i think because we have been in the mindset of not getting our hopes up, it has flown by.

so not a lot of os going on from me. even ds keeps telling me to put my feet up. he's 3 going on 30  lets hope he stays this thoughtful as a teenager... hubby is keeping on top of everything but washing is building up again... does anyone else find it impossible to keep on top of?? i'm sure it breeds overnight

anyway hugs/congrats/bday wishes to all those who need them and have a good day :)

Happy Birthday to esmf & Cranky do come back and see us all.I hope you both have a great birthday whatever you are doing.
Cold still with me and feeling a bit yeugh at the moment although I did have a better night.Eldest DD said she might pop down for coffee later.I should really crack on with cleaning my bathroom but I reall feel like doing absolutely nowt at the moment, no energy at all.So I may just sit and think about what I have to do and make a list of to do things that I will do when I feel a bit better :)My head is banging like a drum so I'm hoping my neighbours don't go off and leave their mutt to bark all day(they sometimes do that and its drives everyone barmy in my road.I'm slightly deaf in my right ear but even I can hear it .
Right I'm off to have a shower and a hot cup of coffee and I may feel a bit better afterwards.I have been reading The Best Marigold Hotel on my Kindle and I'm really enjoying it so that maybe my plan for the day bu&&er the bathroom I'll do it tomorrow when I feel a bit better
    Have a good day everyone

Havnt been on for an while as been ill and havnt been able to catch up with what people are up to.

    Hope all are well

What to do today...need to sort my washing as i washed and dried it but didnt take it out of the machine so will be very creased. Need to do a general tidy round the flat, clean out the guinea pig and sort my meals out for next week. hoping to prep everything so I can just heat it up as work will be hectic and i will just want to go out and buy stuff.

    Morning everyone.
Happy brithday cranky and esmf :T

The funeral yesterday was really nice. Lots of people came, even staff from the local Waitrose, and it was really quite cheerful. My Nan loved Bob Marley so we had that (and Westlife) playing and on the way we passed the weirdest car ever. A white merc with Bob Marley's face painted on the bonnet, rasta stripes and "shady 1 and his b*tch" wrote on the windscreen :rotfl:
I'm staying home for a couple more days to revise like a maniac, my finals are in four days

    Morning all,

a wet and dismal day here in the West Midlands. Unfortunately ive got loads of washing and the weather is too wet to line dry. I think the tumble dryer will be on for most of the day.

Ive fed my men and i'm waiting for the gas fitter to come to see about fitting the new gas fire. Hardly fills me with confidence as he is over an hour late.

Need to pop out later to get some cat litter (for the chinchilla).

Adelight, i wish you well in your finals.

I'm not really here at all, this is just a figment of your imagination. Actually I am downstairs making apple pies, chicken pies and trifle for the drop-in tomorrow.

Just had to say how nice it is to hear from Loulou. I've been wondering how you are getting on. My DIL 2B is at the same stage as you, I thought she was a bit ahead but she had miscalculated. She had her 2nd scan on Friday and was very relieved that everything seemed to be OK. Like you she has had various problems and won't really relax until the baby arrives. She has to have another scan in 3 weeks so that they can do the tests and measurements. The little monkey is lying on it's back with hands over face at the moment.

Using up day today - so jacket potato with odd bits of cheese, ham and salad.

    Back to the kitchen...........
