I've had a poke about the HMRC web site and it seems that they are only interested if one partner was born before 6 April 1935.

That lets us off the hook then.

I didn't know my dad was still entitled to a married man's tax allowance.

if you change address on a paper driving licence you have to goto photo not every wants the expences that come with photo.

Yes, it is. It can also cause problems if you need to prove your ID / address for any reason.

The expense of going to photo is less than the expense of a fine if you have to produce your licence and the details are found to be wrong. If you're driving, keep it up to date!!!
