just tried to register and it says this
We’re sorry but we’ve not been able to provide you access to your Noddle credit report.
As your credit report contains such personal and important financial information we need to make sure that we only make it available to the right person and unfortunately we’ve not been able to automatically verify and validate your identity at this time.
We’re continually making updates to our processes and we hope that this will allow more people to be automatically matched so please do come back in the future and try again.0 -
Sounds like he means that there is a default on there - and that now its paid it will show as a satisfied default.
If so a satisfied default will stay on your credit file for 6years from the original default date - and will look very bad to potential lenders - that said if you never use credit anyway perhaps it won't make a huge difference to you.
There are 3 credit reference agencies - the sky account could show on 1, 2 or all of them
They are experian, equifax and callcredit (which is now branded as noddle).
You can get a free access to your noddle report. To get the other 2 you either need to pay for the £2 statutory files (£2 per agency) or there are free trials you can sign up to (only free if you cancel within the trial period).
When you sign up online for the first time they do have to check your identity, sometimes they have to send you a form in the post. This is especially likely for people who have very little credit, who have moved recently, who are not on the electoral roll or who have unusual address formats. Getting the £2 postal reports can sometimes work out quicker for people who cannot be verified easily online.

Are you on the electrol roll?
Have you been at your current address for more than a few months?
Is your card registered at your current address?
This will be the most common reasons for not being able to get your credit report online. These will also affect your credit rating.
If you try experian or Equifax you will get a month free and you will probably have to wait till a pin is sent out to get access if they can't verify your address.Total Debt: £4610.75

This seems to be happening a lot, there was a thread on the credit card forum about certain cards having problems on noddle. Trying again a bit later seems to work for some people.
Edit: not being registered on the electoral role could be the problem.I SUPPORT CAT RESCUE! Visit Cat Chat to support cat rescue too.

Lenders use electoral roll information to quickly and easily confirm your identity and residency.
Companies looking at the electoral register want to see that you have been registered at the same address for a while.
Being registered on the electoral roll for some time will improve your chances of being accepted for a credit application as it shows a sign of stability.
Mobile phone contracts and store cards in particular are often refused because of a lack of electoral roll information.
A lot of lenders will also become concerned about the possibilty of a fraudulent application if the applicant is not registered to vote at their current address.
Having your name on the electoral register will help dispel concerns about your application being fraudulent.
Being registered for some time will show potential creditors that you are stable and less likely to move around, meaning that you are more likely to repay your creditors and not go ‘Off the Radar’.
