I tried to get those "make a meal" items, they are advertised in the store on a hanging down banner thingy, but guess what? They don't stock them :mad:0

does anyone know what the Thornton moments are scanning at? no scanner at the store I'm in:mad::mad:
this one
The ones with the vege sticker on top were scanning at £4 this morning (there was no SEL though) - there were only a couple there and the date was July. I wonder if new stock will appear before father's day though.0 -
Calmspirit - as MrsBartolozzi says, there is a set amount of interest considered to be what a court would allow. If you look on the reclaim bank charges guide, there is a calculation tool on there on which you could enter the overpayments and dates and it would calculate the correct interest for you
It had been rainling quite heavy all afternoon but came out sunny for the last hour, so I chanced it and took the dogs out. I got to the far side of the field and looked back to see dark cloud rushing towards me fast, so I legged it back home. Poor doggies got dragged along when all Molly wanted to do was play and tug at Bess's lead.. Been in for 10 minutes now and it has just started raining again - phewwMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Can I just ask people how they have managed with printing off coupons from http://tesco.4flow.net/BetterValue/ mag?
I have a laser colour printer so my coupons always look good anyway, and I've never had any problems with people refusing them, but I think I saw someone saying they'd had the printed ones refused?
Was thinking of getting some cheap shiny paper from staples so that they look like they're from the mag.
Any help would be appreciated (I could also be persuaded to be a printing factory for my friends on here....)

Can't help sorry I've always managed to find the mags, as to if the coupons get accepted it varies so much from SA to SA, one gave me back a JTD coupon of £8.20 after he had scanned it, I told him it needed to go in his till0 -

I was having a think about the pitiful offer of £50 which EDF say you would get if it's decided they have messed up your bill for a number of years, and I remembered reading about a % interest which can legally be added to a reclaim of debt. (I read about this when the reclaim bank charges started back in 2007).
Now, if it were me, I'd be thinking it was a bit complicated and scary and I don't want to take an electric company to court, but I would suggest you maybe ask for some advice from the legal bods over on the reclaim charges thread (there's no real main one I could think of that's more useful) or maybe consumer rights?
If the amount that is owed turns out to be substantial I think a visit to a solicitor is in order*. Your family were very cold over the last winter as a direct result of EDF's incompetence. That's wrong and they should apologise. TBH an audit to make sure they are not scalping any other customers is needed too!
Would you mind being featured on Watchdog as I reckon that's probably a good way to get compensated for your winter discomfort, and to help others who may also be suffering in the same way.
* first half hour is free
thanks so much for that :A very interesting. Although the amount is not substantial in the scheme of things - to me it's a MASSIVE amount (I have calculated it to be £1200) but I would be happy to take them to court for one reason - as you mentioned- to stop others being overchargedzippydooda wrote: »this has been on watchdog in the last 2 years bet they would love to do a follow up, that its still happening
Yes I am drafting a letter to them in the hope they will do a follow up! I mean just HOW difficult could it be with today's technology to find out who is being charged on an imperial conversion factor when they they have a metric meter:mad::mad::mad::mad:
3Dogs thanks for the info of where to find interest calculator (i couldnt quote u for some reason) :T:TYNWA JFT96 :A0 -
