Thank you all for your advice about trying to save my iphone, i could really cry, i know its only a phone but i saved up for 17months to buy it and tbh its like my baby, which im very protective over - no one got to play with it, not a mark on it and it was mine!! Well i have done as you said and its now in a box of rice with the lid sealed. I have rung my insurance company and i am covered for accidental damage which is great but have a £100 excess to pay and tbh i don't want a new one i want my one back working, i know that might sound silly, i could really kick myself. Now i have a stinker of a headache as well to contend with.:(

awwww hunni please be patient - i know a lot of people the rice has worked for....notably my sister who is forever dropping her phone down the loo  Give it a few days :A

Not that I have had any or bought any !!!

But all that talk of pizza, pizza, pizza has really turned me off them.

If I never see pizza again until July, it will be to soon !!!!

    Bye Elite

Most of the time it's been fun and very interesting to learn a few tricks of the trade. But dare anyone unpopular express an opinion against the grain my god you pay for it.

One minute it's not okay to abuse coupons, the next it's fine raid the shop's. I can't be @rsed with the snidey comments both here and via PM, so well done you know who you are ;) I will no longer be posting on this thread. Bye

    bye cosmic .

It worries me that so many older people would not have a clue how to check the calculation that was at fault.......the calculation was not even shown on the bills so I was checking the meter readings which were correct. The calculation in question is the one that converts units to kWh ......and whether they use imperial or metric conversion factors....can mean upto 3 X overcharge

I had queried my bills over 2 years but nobody ever mentioned this as a possibilty.

Exactly! I shop around and change supplier for what I think is the best deal, and then just blindly pay whatever is on my bill without cross-checking the unit charge against the meter reading :o Not at all MSE :(
