quick non T related question. In martins weekly email, it's offering 25 summer plants for £9 or 40 plants for £10. without being a thicko, does that mean they actually are plants as opposed to bulbs (I've tried looking for T&C's but can't find).

am I being a proper thicko? Just don't want to get 40 bulbs.

The shampoos and conditioners are £1.85 in Superdrug just now.

So cheaper to buy there then, but probably easier for me to buy in Tesco as I would have to pay for parking for superdrugs.

I am actually very shocked by this. Such a huge overcharge. And it took you, the customer to notice and to have to negotiate putting things right. Only £50 compensation? Scary stuff - I would have no idea if my utility co was overcharging me :o. Shuffles off to check her bill ...

It worries me that so many older people would not have a clue how to check the calculation that was at fault.......the calculation was not even shown on the bills so I was checking the meter readings which were correct. The calculation in question is the one that converts units to kWh ......and whether they use imperial or metric conversion factors....can mean upto 3 X overcharge

I had queried my bills over 2 years but nobody ever mentioned this as a possibilty.

yes it works :D and the 2.50 skincare coupons, buy 3 wipes as they are on 3for2 at 1.82 each, use 2 coupons and get money off your shop..

I thought the wipes were bogof at £3. something each, if you were doing 3 for 2 couldn't you use 3 coupons?

    Bye Elite

Most of the time it's been fun and very interesting to learn a few tricks of the trade. But dare anyone unpopular express an opinion against the grain my god you pay for it.

One minute it's not okay to abuse coupons, the next it's fine raid the shop's. I can't be @rsed with the snidey comments both here and via PM, so well done you know who you are ;) I will no longer be posting on this thread. Bye

    Noooooooooo.

So you hadn't used the energy at all? How did you find the overcharge? Is ti likely that others were affected?

You should report them to Watchdog and their regulatory body.
