Now for the update - Alan got up about 9am, had his breakfast but was back in bed by 10am. I got up at 11am and had my breakfast then went to Mam. Alan was too tired to go out anywhere so stayed in bed until I got back. Mam was worn out today and seemed very weak, though she is normally quieter in the mornings anyway. The lovely carer Babs said she'd had to feed Mam her porridge this morning and that she wasn't quite herself today
I fed Mam her pureed roast beef dinner and rice pudding but she struggled a bit with the pud, which Babs agreed was not like her at all. After I gave her the liquid paracetamol and she'd had her nebuliser on, I left her to sleep. She knew I was going and joined in with 'counting the kisses' and said she'd see me later, but I am sure she'd sleep very soon after I left
When I got back, I woke Alan up and we've had coffee and cake. He is currently reading the papers but is going back to bed when I go out again, as he is very very tiredWe are hoping that he can get out tomorrow. I think the priority is for him to see his Dad, so we will aim for that first before we get out and about anywhere else
He fancies chinese takeaway and there is one round the corner from my sister's house, so I will get that on the way home from seeing Mam, if it is open then, or walk round later for it if necessary

Just popping in quick whilst dinner is cooking(lots of lovely whoopsied veg curtesy of Lala and a nice roast chicken)I have just had half a glass of grape juice topped up with value sparkling water it was really good. Since I gave up my very addictive habit of diet coke in february it is a good replacement ,so I would just like to thank whoever suggested it on the thread an appologise for not remembering who it was:T
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend and looking at the weather forecast it looks like summer might be around the corner:)
Possibly me - we get through a 2 litre bottle of value sparkling water, 17p most days. I top the grape juice up - not sure its very good for the teeth
I cant wean my OH off coke- he drinks coke zero or pepsi max. Very annoying when you have a house full of juice.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Sainsburys cutting fuel prices by 3p litre and Tesco announced a promotion of giving customers 10p per litre off fuel vouchers when they buy 2 packs of Andrex toilet rolls

would be good to womble some vouchers...:)
The weather forecast this week is lovely, perfect for some wombling on Thursday!;);)
I hope I can womble a 10p off coupon too, I'm not spending £8 on flipping bog roll to get one!!I just wombled a mahoosive receipt must be 3 foot long!! I had to fight my way thru the trolleys in the trolley park to get to it.....on inspection tho it had £18 worth of Moc used and a load of mutibuys which account for about a foot of the receipt!
sound like a savvy shopper, I see what the pricechecker thinks!!
There's not a great deal of logic with the APG, I input a £13 receipt and got £1.46 back  and a £97 with NO multibuys that gave nothing lol but the average return is way way higher than Mr T and a much higher percentage have something on them too. It's just finding the ones with the 8 comparable items that's not so easy!
I do like to keep my options open and womble both Mr A and Mr T I don't like to miss anything!
