I often see people here mocking HUKD users asking for proof of deals...

Well last night case in point - there was a deal for a £120 slim PS3 in Tescos posted with a photoshopped poster.

Cue lots of trips to Mr T's, people expressing doubts, other people laying into those expressing doubts, those who had seen it all before giving knowing sighs etc...

...before I finally came along and used my extreme Googling skillz to put them out of their misery with the original photo.

The OP wasn't some random troll either, this was done by a well-established poster with 5 years membership with 50 genuine deals under his belt.

Just thought I'd explain why there's such scrutiny over there, this sort of thing happens all the time. Be thankful that you're usually able to place your trust in other members here on MSE :money:
