I too took this post the wrong way:cool: I don't think we are at all selfish on this thread and I did post piccies of my A's goodies on here because I didnt know their was seperate thread for it and I found out about it from here. I agree MT does a fab job and it's nice to see her posting on here too:T

Not as such. The larger items get sent through Parcel Force from the PO.
Items like lawn mowers etc do get turned away as there may not be room to store them until Parcel Force calls to collect.
Packet can't exceed 90cm (length) or 104cm overall
Standard parcel is up tp 150cm & 20kgs but no signature
Parcel Force takes all the rest

Just bought 12 bottles of Blaxland Estate Chardonnay from Tesco. SEL was £4.99 but was charged £9.99. Went to customer services and she advised me that she would refund and sell it to me at the reduced price. I have had a couple of DTD on wine in there so didn't want to draw attention, so just accepted, thinking I will just have to take it back another time. I have come home and rang customer services who said that the store should have given me DTD and they will contact them to ensure that they are aware of the policy. They thought I only bought one bottle and were going to send me a £10 gift card, but when I explained I had bought 12 bottles, she said that is a big amount and that she would have to take it up with the store. They took my contact details and advised me they would come back to me in two hours, just wondered if anyone had any experience with trying for DTD this way. Thanks
