OH went to asda today and got a few more odds and ends. £28 spent this time. No idea where its all going but the kids love their spag bols and other pasta based meals so an absolute bargain really.

A huuuuuuuuge thank you again to the OH (whose name once again escapes me sorry) for this one, its been a real good bargain this one.

I was gutted last week to find I'd run out of minced beef and OH wanted Lasagne.
Told him he'd have to wait until I found some whoopsied....and hey presto, Got several pack 2 days later 75% off in the Co-op!

Does anyone know what to do with minced pork, other than in a meatloaf or pork and apple burgers??
I've got a few packs lurking in the freezer and my lot aren't big pork fans. We've had whoopsied pork chops tonight which I did in the slow cooker with loads of onions in a thick gravy. I thought it was lovely (had it with really buttery mash and veg) but was met with groans when I served it up :rotfl::rotfl:

There isnt anything I wouldn't do with pork mince that I wouldn't to with any other. Chilli, spag Bol, shepherds pie, burgers and lasagne

    Hi I called cs on 0800 505555.
They said that there's a prob with the system and they took my details so that they could get back to me when its fixed.

I was about to put in lots of receipts, one in particular that is all comparable items, but I think I'll wait awhile:eek:. Hope that helps, cos I'd hate anyone to lose their jtd on the pizza deal because of yet another T mess up. I wonder if they do it deliberately to put people off doing it. It seems strange their system has often 'got a problem', or blatantly doesn't compare items we all know full well DO compare. A and S manage to do it quite well, cos you don't seem to hear of problems with their price match thingys.

I went to tesco today and did quite well, total was £23.41 then got it down to £7.55 :j

Although really annoyed because it should of been a few £ less, i got the £4 frozen deal but it didnt come off

    Im sure i'd got the right items because id wrote down all the weights and prices before going, there were no signs in store for the deal but had read that the promotion still worked, i got;

    birds eye peas - £1.25
birds eye fish fingers - 12 pack haddock - £2.48
    birds eye waffles - £1.50
    Viennetta £1
So paid total of £6.23 instead of £4

Did manage to use a £1 off £5 on birdseye on that atleast so £5.23.

does any know where i went wrong?

Raspberries freeze really well. Lay them out on a tray to freeze, then bag them up. HTH
