xxFudge_Cake wrote: »magsmorris - I understand the stress but please do look after yourself. Your DS won't be able to enjoy the big day if you aren't feeling tip top. I hope everything's come along nicely with the finishing touches and if for some reason we don't speak before, I hope you all have a wonderful time on Thursday :j
lookinforabargain - Thank you :A Awww poor youHow's your DD doing now? Hope she's ok. Have you done all the tricks with your price check? Have you received anything from them yet about that one or just no reply at all? Hope it comes through ASAP.

Karlie -:eek: WOW! Amazing whoopsies! Can I be cheeky and ask please how the meal deal discount came off/how much came off.....there could be a glitch here:beer:
Laura Cello -:eek::eek::eek: OMG!!!!!! I am soooooo jel of the strawberry haul, me thinks I may begin frequenting Waitrose!! Could you please explain how the discount comes off with whoopsies please? You seem to be the Queen of Waitrose Whoopsies :T:T:T

FloFlo - Yeah I agree with you about the style of the outfit Kylie was wearing, infact I have a really similar leather jacket....but minus all the pearly buttons and leather flat cap  I just thought it was so cheap and corny. I get why she did it, I just don't think she achieved the desired effect! And I used to not think much of Dani Minogue but since X Factor, I've really changed my opinion of her and think she's lovely.
Fuzzydo - You're welcome! :A And good luck :T
Purdy - :T:T Well said, the feel good factor was eminating from every single sole on The Mall, even though they must have been very tired and chilly standing there all day!!

Hi everyone. I've been a bit AWOL from the thread cos its been busy here but i did manage to partake in the pizza deal (and what a deal, @ 52p!!) after work yesterday. But I'm on hols for a week so wondered if anyone had managed to get it to work in any D*nd** store? Kway didnt have the garlic bread on saturday, so I doubt they have the deal today but maybe r'side?
For those in the P*rth area, Edi rd had it working yesterday at about 4pm with all varieties of pizza and ice cream in stock.
Right, got a lot of back reading to do over breakfast, I'll see what I missed.
It's only a game

Morning All , a cold damp one here , a pity as the town are havin a parteeee...:)
a super offer for family or friends who have energy burning young kiddies or grand kiddies to feed ...maybe not so good for over the hill over the tip of the scale oldies (myself included) but hey I've always loved ice cream...bring it on .I was young once , now I get older all the time .0 -

Strawberries for breakfast! We have been giving them away, but I am definitely going to make jam... need that billington's coupon for sugar.... The best bit is that they weren't even yesterday's date- they are today's date! So if any of you local to me fancy an early morning trip to my waitrose, there are plenty left! -and my fridge is full :rotfl:
Here is how it works... basically, if you have a self-scan thing (hand held) you can go around and be SURE of what comes off, because you are walking around carrying a mini-til. When they whoopsie, any deals still come off of the FULL original price) except for individual bakery items - loose rolls or choc donuts... so on this receipt you can see how it worked with the Strawberries (originally £4 per pot :eek:) and the Hovis pancakes (originally 80p each and on 2 for £1.20). I had to buy the 29p loaf and another 19p loaf of bread as the balance was negative... (and that would just be careless to leave it like that!!) The people who work there are fully aware of the system, and they don't like to throw away good food, but that is the rule if it is unsold. And I am sure they rake in the money there- I know we have relations who shop there for ordinary things and they didn't really mind that there were vouchers in the paper this weekend (£10 off £60 in store)... So I have learned not to feel guilty. And I always always share whatever is going....
Well, sun is out again! Time to tackle the shed :D:eek: sounds like a good holiday activity :rotfl::T:rotfl:
well done laura. I'm very jealous. Waitrose is good few miles from me.grocery challenge 9.86/600 -

the berry one wasn't as good as i hoped. I don't like chocolate in icecream too much. The core was chocolate truffle and i was hoping that half way down it would be gone. I like the cherry garcia frozen yoghurt. shame it's not part of the deal.grocery challenge 9.86/600 -
I always go to my local Waitrose at whoopsie time as they quite often have some really good offers on the fresh meat that still kick in once the price has been dropped, don't often get chance to get down to the large Waitrose in Ashf0rd (kent) but when i do quite often get some good buys, better thatn the local Mr T's! Well done on your buys, most jealous!!!
p.s. another member of the sockless club here lol!
