Good morning everyone
Will be getting one more pizza/B&J deal today, can fit it into the freezer.
The items don't have to be eaten all at one meal, so the cholesterol impact shouldn't be a problem.
It's still showing on T's site as a deal, but will check A's prices before going.
Taking DS1 back to uni this afternoon for his last exam tomorrow, and will stop at A's on the way back for wombling, and to see what of their RTC's I can find
Hope you will all have a very good day today. The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -

Strawberries for breakfast! We have been giving them away, but I am definitely going to make jam... need that billington's coupon for sugar.... The best bit is that they weren't even yesterday's date- they are today's date! So if any of you local to me fancy an early morning trip to my waitrose, there are plenty left! -and my fridge is full :rotfl:
Here is how it works... basically, if you have a self-scan thing (hand held) you can go around and be SURE of what comes off, because you are walking around carrying a mini-til. When they whoopsie, any deals still come off of the FULL original price) except for individual bakery items - loose rolls or choc donuts... so on this receipt you can see how it worked with the Strawberries (originally £4 per pot :eek:) and the Hovis pancakes (originally 80p each and on 2 for £1.20). I had to buy the 29p loaf and another 19p loaf of bread as the balance was negative... (and that would just be careless to leave it like that!!) The people who work there are fully aware of the system, and they don't like to throw away good food, but that is the rule if it is unsold. And I am sure they rake in the money there- I know we have relations who shop there for ordinary things and they didn't really mind that there were vouchers in the paper this weekend (£10 off £60 in store)... So I have learned not to feel guilty. And I always always share whatever is going....
Well, sun is out again! Time to tackle the shed :D:eek: sounds like a good holiday activity :rotfl::T:rotfl:
I always go to my local Waitrose at whoopsie time as they quite often have some really good offers on the fresh meat that still kick in once the price has been dropped, don't often get chance to get down to the large Waitrose in Ashf0rd (kent) but when i do quite often get some good buys, better thatn the local Mr T's! Well done on your buys, most jealous!!!
p.s. another member of the sockless club here lol!Chocolate always makes me feel better!0 -
Morning all. Just about to head out swimming with the kids - leisure centre is free for kids today for the jubilee
Can someone please tell me what kind of pizzas are comparing? TIA
A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist0
