    Morning! :j

Strawberries for breakfast! We have been giving them away, but I am definitely going to make jam... need that billington's coupon for sugar... ;):p. The best bit is that they weren't even yesterday's date- they are today's date! So if any of you local to me fancy an early morning trip to my waitrose, there are plenty left! -and my fridge is full :rotfl:

Here is how it works... basically, if you have a self-scan thing (hand held) you can go around and be SURE of what comes off, because you are walking around carrying a mini-til. When they whoopsie, any deals still come off of the FULL original price) except for individual bakery items - loose rolls or choc donuts... so on this receipt you can see how it worked with the Strawberries (originally £4 per pot :eek:) and the Hovis pancakes (originally 80p each and on 2 for £1.20). I had to buy the 29p loaf and another 19p loaf of bread as the balance was negative... (and that would just be careless to leave it like that!!) The people who work there are fully aware of the system, and they don't like to throw away good food, but that is the rule if it is unsold. And I am sure they rake in the money there- I know we have relations who shop there for ordinary things and they didn't really mind that there were vouchers in the paper this weekend (£10 off £60 in store)... So I have learned not to feel guilty. And I always always share whatever is going....

  • Morning! I hope everyone is enjoying the jubilee celebrations.

I think I am going for go for the 3 pizzas for £5 deal using the price flop coupons. Does anyone know if the third coupon will have to approved by an SA if I go through SS?

I confess I've got the original on LP, I'm not that old I sort of inherited it;);)
Am I the only one who thinks pizzas, ice cream and garlic breads are just another unhealthy 'offer' by Tesco and isn't interested?

I'm not although, it's a fab offer:TI love icecream & garlic bread and I'd just eat it:( so I'm sticking to whoopsied pizzas with vouchers and me and DS will share them (Big One;)) with salad :)

Morning everyone:)Another lovely day of celebrations and don't forget all you BigBrother fans, It starts tonight!!!!:T:T:T:T:T Looks like the sun might be trying to break through an it feels a bit muggy. 3dogs glad you and Mr3dogs enjoyed the concert last night and have to agree Robbie singing swing was brilliant and Tom Jones, say no more:T:T:T:T

Hi, it will probably 'call for assistance' at the second coupon (because of the ratio of spend the SS tills are set at).

then we are going to a tesco in glasgow (had to fall out with other half to get him to agree to that part, but worth the agro)
    have a great day everyone,
the pizzas i got last night in the 3 for £5 deal are dated 11th of june which would be good if u don't have much room in ur freezer just now. i'm getting a small chest freezer next week can't wait xxx
