A vet sedated the dog and then removed a total of 1,347 quills.
The dog survived and has, hopefully, learned a valuable lesson.0 -
A while back I sent off for a sample of colgate sensitive-pro relief toothpaste (can't remember if it was here or FB). Today I get an email asking me to enter a survey on what I thought of it and get a 50p off coupon.
The only useful comment I can make in the survey is that the sample never arrived! But I'm happy to say that to get 50p off.
So the coupon is emailed with the following small print (my highlights):TO THE CASHIER: For use against any Colgate® Sensitive Pro-Relief™ 75ml toothpaste from 01.04.2012 until 31.05.2012.
TO THE CONSUMER: This coupon entitles you to 50p off your next purchase of a 75ml pack of Colgate® Sensitive Pro-Relief™ toothpaste. This offer is not redeemable against any other Colgate product. Only one coupon per purchase. Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash. Please do not attempt to redeem this coupon against other products as refusal to accept may cause embarrassment and delay at the checkout.
THIS COUPON IS VALID UNTIL 31/7/2012.
TO THE RETAILER: Colgate Palmolive (UK) Ltd. will redeem this coupon for £0.50, provided it has been taken in payment against one purchase of a 75ml pack of Colgate® Sensitive Pro-Relief™ toothpaste. This offer is not redeemable against any other Colgate product. Colgate-Palmolive (U.K.) Ltd reserves the right to refuse redemption of damaged or defaced coupons or those that have not been validly redeemed. Send your coupons to Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief, Valassis, Northants, NN17 1NN. Coupons will only be redeemed if recieved before 31/10/2012.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. izzeyb just beware! DD1 did a school project back in 2006 and painted snails from different areas of the garden with nailvarnish, logged where they were from, mixed them up and let them go in different areas, neighbours gardens etc. it was quite pretty having jewel coloured snails around. They did come back to where they were originally from, even the ones from neighbours gardens. ( they might not have managed the letterbox though!)
I found one last week, still alive and well and half way up a plant with its red nailvarnish on:eek:0 -
I've been to a different T's today one with a costa coffee shop in it. I found quite a few drumstick lollies but couldn't look properly as my mum met me. This store has loads of price flops:j:j

Apparently the online deal is not in most stores, though apparently is in some extras so worth checking should you be in one.
