Has anyone scanned the haribo footballs lately ? There was about 10 boxes full on the top shelf today with discontinued stickers on but I didn't have time to try them. There was also some small bags of thorntons chocolates with discontinued stickers so hoping these will be the next 1p items - not that I need anymore chocolate
I scanned them today in my local Extra - they were scanning at £1  They actually expect people to pay that much for £1 sweets :rotfl::rotfl:
Just back from T's. No roasting chickens, the two chickens left that were £2 per kilo were too small so had to make to with a value chicken. They are OK anyway, just annoyed that I had to pay that much just to get a good size chicken.
I even dived in among the lamb but could not find a single one that was not correctly marked, I spent about 25 minutes going through every last one!
Did a bit of wombling in the car park, picked up an Asda receipt! Even got £1.58 off it, stingy people did not spend £40 though, or would have got more. My OH was wondering what I was doing with an Asda receipt so told him I picked it up,a nd he said he was surprised I hadn't emptied the bins. Shall have to introduce him to FK :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
