Not a bad day weatherwise down here in Cornwall - hope it doesn't get windy overnight as I'm off on the ferry to Santander tomorrow and I am NOT a good sailor! Away for 10 days and then home for 3 days and then off again to Sri Lanka for 3 weeks.

I've got a Mail Rewards Club code for today (and should have one tomorrow if the paper is delivered early enough) - its such a shame that I can't use them as I won't be able to add any more in the qualifying period. I REALLY hate wasting a good coupon or code but I suppose I will have to bin them won't I? ;););)

Thank you for this - I think I need to try the Flora Spread Price Flop out on the Buttery. Has anyone done this and is it OK?

eg (I think, but do get confused on jtd calcs) 6 x FB £11.70, less three floppers £8.70 and £5.70 back jtd. £3 for 3 kg sounds reasonable to me.

    How about 8 x £1.95 = £15.60 - £5 ( price flops) = £10.60

    Jtd £7.60 so £3 for 4kg

Thanks Snap-ant. Don't know how but missed this when first posted.

Am also seriously attracted to midnightraven3's use of the gazebo when not camping/festivalling - brilliant idea :)

I can live with looking ridiculous if I can get my laundry dry no matter the weather without resorting to the tumble drier

ooooh, thanks - even better (was going to put even butter but didn't want to get evicted). I so hope this works as this stuff freezes fine and we use a fair bit of it.

Haven't jtd'd for a while - is it all OK now or still a bit risky?

Just singing I feel like chicken tonight to myself before I go to Mr T's and my son (who is having a school friend around for the first time later) just said:

Well I must told my Tesco a hundred times about the bagged salad saying buy one for fifty points when it's actually buy two. Went the other day some did actually say two but the wild rocket still said one. Now I found some price check booklets in another store so I went for it again. 8 x rocket at for £8, two price flops so £6. 200 only added and another 200 from CS as per SEL. Used couple wombled rtd. Paid £6 for £16 in deals.......

Got Trouted by a jobsworth on then squelches. Person in front me had some t coupons, saw her scrutinising them so did have good idea it would go t##s up. She started reading the coupon as though her life depended on it, then one squelch came out the bag, then an enquiry over the other five, then none scan drama, then call of supervisor, then I told her forget it I go to CS, then she tried charge me full price, I told her cancel it off, she told me she can't, I told her I ain't paying her I go to CS and pay. Lot tutting later I go CS did low profile moan and off we go squelches in hand, well carrier bag really.....
