Hi MMW , so glad that it's all going well for you in the recovery stage .
I know it's not as bad as yours but when I had my dressing removed from a toe injury (big toe) it was one of the most painful experiences I've encountered ( i had to have a tot of whiskey and it was only 10am) and believe me I've had some bad accidents in the past .
Good luck with it as I'm sure you'll soon be poloishing that clock tower ....see you there ?life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0 -

good news.
i went and got my dressing changed, but they wouldnt/couldnt wash my toe as there was no hot water in the surgery :eek:
but she said "the TOE STUMP is looking ok" UHmm what stump, didnt they remove the whole toe?
*me talking from behind my hand.*
no, they have taken 2 knuckles and left a stump. so i braved it and looked at my stump. its not as bad as i thought it would be. also even better news, cos they left the 3 knuckle i can drive my car, just waiting for confirmation from the insurance company.
i have managed to get my shoes on over my bandages. i will be so happy just to toddle down to tesco.life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0 -
We save our pinecones for Xmas dinner, O/H gets narky tho as I get £4 he gets £3
How do you manage that as the Pincone terms and conditions say one sign up per household?
Is it ok to sign up my spouse for the panel as well?
Participation in the PineCone Research panel is limited to one member per household. While there may be opportunities for other household members to participate from time to time, there can only be one designated spokesperson for the household.
If you have both signed up inadvertently be careful that they don't find out and suspend both of you:("Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138
