I'm not sure that putting a new thread into DT would deter 'lurkers' to be honest, if a person is registered to the site and signed in they can go anywhere.
The thread has thrived here and Red Fox (bless her) has been real good to us.
There have been lots of new members recently and they have all been saying the same thing, that they have been lurking and reading the thread for ages, too affraid to join in but over time have overcome that fear and now join in. It would be a shame to remove ourselves from here thus preventing 'newbies' from joining us.
I know that there is a person or people that shop in my local and they don't come on here but I have found the relevant shelf empty. That's just life I guess. There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
Can anyone help, I often go on the M & S website for a nosey for any cheap wine/beer deals. And lately I can't seem to get the site to sort from low to high price anymore, it lets me use the drop down to change from sorting by "New Arrivals" to low to high or any of the other options but nothing happens. Is it just me? Maybe someone has cottoned on I like to sniff out a bargain on there.0

Hello everyoneee
A little old lady this morning reminded me to post on here..was eating lunch in the car with OH earlier in a public car park when this elderly lady (with a zimmer frame) walked behind my car, then she headed towards the car parking machine and was trying to find money in the bit at the bottom where the money pops out if it hasnt been accepted...had to try and stop myself from laughing looked so funny as she was so small and frail bless her...she looked not all with it as she was nicely dressed so didn't look like she was so poor she needed the money to survive...and the car park is only 30p an hour so she wouldnt have managed to get much money even if there was some in there!
Hope you are all well and enjoying the sunshine... all ok here, more illness as DS now has chicken pox... so no t's for us
but hey the sun is shining and DS has been really good about it so I am not going to complain!
Will try and "catch up" properly when ds is better and I have more time...I do often end up on here in the evenings but only have time to read 2-3 pages before i'm so knackered i need to sleep. Sorry I don't contribute as much as some of the amazing people on here.. some of you deserve a medal for the amount of time/effort you put in!!
anyway off to bed.. will try and keep up this week x
p.s. got £15 refund on a gelert tent we ordered with the exchange as it had a small hole in the ground sheet... nothing duct tape wont fix...the guy at t's didn't have a clue what to say to me..dont think he even knew what a ground sheet was so he just said shall I refund you £15..was tempted to ask for £20 but didn't want to take the p!ss too much :rotfl:

I just checked and lets me search price: low to high - I don't think they can single out peoples search options so probably just a blip in the system0 -
time for bed i think. this heat makes me so sleepy, nearly had afternoon nap earlier but my boys kept me awake:).0

hi all, trying to catch up as haven't had time to post since i came out of lurkdom last week .even if the thread gets move to DT ,as long as lurker is registered surly they will still read & grab the bargains.most of us use the bargains we get to help ourselves make the pennies last ,& give to family & friends .although i dont have a T near to me i still like to make the best of my cash so have used money off coupons ,conditional spend vouchers, loyalty cards etc for years but not as full on as some people who get their weekly shop down to just a few pounds0
