Also, there are lots of legitimate reasons for lurking and it would be a shame to exclude those peeps who are building up confidence to join in. And all those regulars who work n lurk during the day because they aren't allowed to log on from the work place would be barred.
The thread is flourishing here and is a fantastic community - just want you to think very carefully before going ahead with any changes.
Well said, I used to be a bit scared of posting in any threads that were "Stickys" on board. Don't know why I guess they seemed to be full of people who knew each other. Think I have mentioned in the past I started posting quite a bit in the 1p thread that is still kicking about on grabbit, and recognise quite a few names over here. But I mostly lurked in the old DTD thread.
I was thinking too how we would not have Redfox looking after us anymore, I think she does such a good job I don't think I would want anyone else.0 -

Just spent the last 3 hours  playing catch up Done at last
Hope you all had a lovely weekend enjoying the sun
No Ts for me today or yesterday come to think of it, as DS had my car due to him and GF moved into their new house over weekend. He hired a van and had that from 4.30pm yesterday until 12 noon today. It's been manic but they only have 3 things left to move and they will fit in their car.
He has band practise tonight then going to old house to pick up tv and their 2 cats. Then the wedding plans step up a gear I guessThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -

I guess its easy enough to register, plus I was a lurker for ages I was registered just a bit afraid to post and didn't think I'd ever be able to contribute as well as others
I can understand you feeling that way
It's not as though you've ever found anything big is it....unlike me with my plethora of bargainous Tesco's to choose from
I can see where you are coming from Locarr.....but unless we go down the dreaded facebook route :eek: there's no way we'll ever stop the lurkers. My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
Good luck tomorrow I'm sure you'll get inner strength to fight the case. Sorry we didn't get to meet I expect I'll be up that way before too long because I have family up there.
Hope stepmum is doing okay
Hi everyone full catch up tomorrow
Thanks QPR10, sorry too that things were messed up, it would have been great to meet one of the Elite! And thank you for your kind offer re the telescopeHopefully next time you are heading this we we can meet up.
My step mum is better today but still in pain and very upset that she's now got to spend 6 weeks in a magic shoe type thing! She doesn't deal with pain well and she has OCD too so the fact she now can't clean etc is getting her down too!
Hope you had a fab time at the concert0 -

Good Evening everyone!
fudgecake - big big hugs to you, really hope things have got better this weekend
Hugs to all others in need.
Nightmare weekend really but hey ho, my Grandad's inquest tomorrow, I'm not looking forward to it at all.
I really feel I've not come to terms with his death and it's all become so ... I can't think of the word, like surreal and cold really, as I've had to go through all his medical notes and write my questions and refer to him as Mr ???? rather than my grandad.
I will all of a sudden get a moment where I realise he's gone and despite what happens won't be coming back and I break down, but then I have to pull myself together so we can fight this case. I am just dreading when we no longer have something to focus on.
Anyway, sorry for dragging the happiness down, but please, if you will cross your fingers for our family tomorrow.
Hope you've all had a fab weekend
I hope that the day goes as well as things like this can and that you get your questions answered - that might be a step towards coming to terms - will be thinking of you0
