I did my conditional spend & coupon shop this afternoon - managed to get a £77+ shop down to £61+ with multisaves, then down to £27+ after coupons (including a wombled £9 off £60 spend)!!!

Wondering why I never used to take much notice of coupons - I could get used to this!

Just back from a lovely walk at a nearby country park - saw swans sitting on their nest and another pair of swans with cygnets, think we might go back and take a picnic one night next week (weather permitting)
How sad is this? Going out to see a friend tonight but just fired up asda store locator to see how many I pass on the way............. :(

If a woman had designed it she'd have made one BIG roundabout instead of 5 piddling little ones in a circle. :p:p

So you see guys......size DOES matter ;)

We have a throughabout - just a fancy name for confusing traffic lights - a simple roundabout would have been much better

Hi everyone hope you are all doing well

I haven't had a chance to catch up today, just popped on to mention I bought 6 x value oranges (50p each pack) today
(also the Jazz apples which are 2.00 usually, but 2 for 2.50 at the moment) So total for 6 x oranges and 4 pkts of Jazz apples after using 1.00 citrus coupon, 1.00 apples and pear coupon and 2 of the spend 5.00 on fruit coupons = total 4.00 for 10 lots of fruit :) Shall get to the point.........for some reason the oranges scanned as British plums 1.50. sa was on the ball, noticed and corrected straight away. Wonder if it will happen again for someone?

Did some wombling on way in and out
    3 x 5.00 off 40.00 for next week
5 to put on price checker
and total of 288 points to add to clubcard
227 points on one really lonnnggggg receipt alone:) :)
  • Well all in all I had a good wee day at T's. Parked near the trolley bay and the first trolley I pulled out had a receipt in it, they had used a CC but I've stuck it in the price checker ;)

Had a wee wander round and got my price flop bits and bobs, then spotted the Nik Naks still at 52p bogof so took 4 packets as OH likes them. However, they went through the till at £1.88 bogof  Didn't realise 'til I was back at the car, so took them back and got dtd no problems so paid to take them away  Got back to the car for the 2nd time and there was a £5 off wys £40 for next week sitting right beside my front tyre :T Spotted another receipt a few trolleys in on the ground, thought sod it and got down on my hands and knees to retrieve it! :rotfl: 54 points to be claimed and it's also in the price checker.

And then of course the socks :j After me saying yesterday as well I was still sockless :o So keep looking the folks they do magically appear!

Off to have a nice cold beer now

Carrot cake is one of my faves. These would be so great on a buffet table.
    :j
Tigerwhite - that cake looks delicious! are the green bits real mint leaves or incredibly realistic looking fondant icing?
Thanks for the nice comments re: carrot cake, just catching up. Penniesforme, I ran out of willpower and effort for the green stalks so yes, I used real mint leaves from my garden :T

Just back from a lovely weekend away to a not very nice letter from Police Camera Partnership .

Bought a new car two weeks ago at 12 noon, drove home and noticed one of the tyres looked a low so we decided to drive to the local garage to fill up with fuel and check tyre pressures. At 13:03 I have been caught on camera doing 38 in a 30 zone . I dont condone speeding but how unlucky to have a ticket after having the car for an hour :rotfl:

Bought the 2 lots of Andrex today & got my 10p off fuel. SA said he didn't realise it was still working ( felt like saying I don't normally buy 18 rolls at one time). Went to fill up, handed over 10p & 5p off vouchers and lady said "oh don't know if I can use both". Much nail biting from me. Other lady said "it's fine you just can't use multipuls of the same voucher. Phew! Many thanks to whoever posted :D
